Jharal Yow Yeh (born 22 December 1989) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer for the Brisbane Broncos of the National Rugby League (NRL). An Indigenous All Stars representative three-quarter back, he has played his entire club football career to date with the Broncos, and is the great-nephew of former Balmain Tigers player Kevin Yow Yeh.In 2011 he made his State of Origin debut for the Queensland Maroons. He has scored on debut for Brisbane, Queensland and Australia.[1]

Yow Yeh was born in 1989 in Emu Park, Queensland. He is of Torres Strait Islander, Vanuatuan and Chinese descent.[2][3] He is the great-nephew of former Balmain Tigers player Kevin Yow Yeh, who died before he was born.[1] Yow Yeh attended Ferny Grove State High School, where he finished his senior education in 2006.
After graduating from school Yow Yeh played junior football for West Arana Hills and Norths Devils. He played in the Under-20s for the Brisbane Broncos and was named in the 2008 National Youth Competition's team of the year.
Yow Yeh made his National Rugby League debut for the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium in the 2009 NRL season's Round 1 clash with the North Queensland Cowboys.[4]
Yow Yeh was named in the Indigenous All Stars team 2010, but through the game injured his leg and missed five rounds of the 2010 season. He was also named as the queensland rugby league team's 18th man for Game II of the 2010 State of Origin series but was not needed to play.
In 2011, Yow Yeh's representative career was kick-started with being named in Mal Meninga's 25-man QLD State of Origin Squad, and also gaining a position in Tim Sheens' Australian team, filling in for injured wingers Lote Tuqiri and Darius Boyd. Yow Yeh was one of three debutants, the others being Kade Snowden, replacing the selected David Shillington, and Jamal Idris, taking the spot of Panther Luke Lewis. Yow Yeh will play this game with teammates Justin Hodges, Darren Lockyer, Sam Thaiday and from the bench Ben Hannant.
Yow Yeh made his debut for Queensland in Game I of the 2011 State of Origin series, scoring a try; which was set-up by Cooper Cronk.
On 3 November 2011 The annual RLIF Awards dinner was held at the Tower of London and Yow Yeh was named international rookie of the year.[5]
Yow Yeh will feature in the 2012 NRL All Stars Game as the right winger for the Indigenous All Stars team.
